The conference location in Garching is located in the north of Munich on the campus of the Technische Universität, which is accessible by the terminal stop "Garching Forschungszentrum" of the U6 metro line. Detailed information is given here.
From the central train station in Munich, take any eastbound S-Bahn two stops to Marienplatz. There, take the U-Bahn U6 towards Garching Forschungszentrum (runs every 20 min on weekends). Take the exit 'Garching' (there are three exits 'Garching Hochbrück', 'Garching', and 'Garching Forschungszentrum, you need the second). The Hotel is located 100 m north of the Metro station. There is a sign at the main road "Freisinger Landstrasse".
The conference site is on the Campus of the Technical University. Take the metro one stop north to 'Garching Forschungszentrum'. Take the first exit (south), on you right side you will see the 'IMETUM' building (see map). The talks will be in the IMETUM lecture hall. We'll put up signs for direction.
Accommodation is in the Hotel Hoyacker Hof, which is within walking distance of the U6 metro station "Garching", one stop before "Garching Forschungszentrum".
